Synthetic Cities

We’re excited to share that the paper Entity-based Synthetic Urban Layout Generation using Multi-channel GANs for Swiss Urban Planning Applications has been accepted for presentation at SDS 2026!

This research—led by our founder, Furio Valerio Sordini, together with co‑author Pavel Sulimov—explores how generative AI can support the creation of synthetic urban layouts tailored to Swiss planning needs. Using multi‑channel GANs, the work introduces new possibilities for data‑driven spatial design, supporting planners and communities in shaping more adaptive and future‑ready cities.
